The Tampa Bay Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) awarded its 2005 Bronze Quill Award of Excellence to the Honey Rand, Environmental PR Group, Lutz, for Happy Feet Plus green building poster, in the marketing/advertising campaign category.
In September 2005, the Pinellas County Board of of County Commissioners presented Happy Feet Plus with the Partners for Pollution Prevention
Award. The Clearwater location of Happy Feet Plus is the
first retail store in the country to be gold certified by the U.S. Green
Building Council’s Leadership in Energy Efficient Design (LEED)
standards. Happy Feet Plus’ green building is completely selfsustaining
and constructed with features, technologies, and products
that reduce the use of water and electricity, conserving our natural
