Alpro's ProClassic footwear offers both great fit and comfort. All ProClassic footwear are built with the Original
Birkenstock Footbed. This contoured footbed provides firm and orthopedically correct support for your feet. When first
slipping into a pair, your body automatically corrects its posture; your feet are relieved and your back adjusts and
relaxes into its natural position.
Alpro's footbeds are made of high quality cork and natural rubber. The warmth of your foot allows the cork and rubber to
contour to your foot over time. This creates your own personalized footprint, which results in optimum comfort and support
as you walk and stand. The Alpro footbed features a deep heel cup, proper arch support and adequate room in the toe area.
And, the raised toe bar encourages the natural gripping motion of your toes, which exercises your legs and increases
circulation.
Alpro has combined this healthy footbed with their molded Alpro-Cell sole. This lightwight, shock-absorbing technical
sole is made of a high-grade EVA and is certified slip-resistant.

SuperGrip Sole
(Currently only availabe in the C115 style)
The original super-grip sole consists of two components: a cushioning midsole made of EVA and a slip-resistant rubber tread sole. Combined, this advanced, non-abrasive, long lasting feature is perfect for hospitals, laboratories and more.
Alpro SuperGrip soles meet the following slip-resistant standards:
Thick yet supple leathers without additional dyes keep the leather breathable, durable and comfortable.
- Oiled leather has a heavily oiled finish; durable & moisture-resistant.
- Waxy leather has a finish applied to a buffed natural leather. Ages to a naturally distressed appearance.
- Sumatra leather is distressed to appear aged. Does not hold its shape like full-grain leather.
- Cortina leather has an embossed pattern.
- Patent leather is treated with a high-gloss, shiny finish.
- Embossed leather has been stamped using heat and high pressure to create a unique pattern or design.
- "Active 3D" embossed leather has texture and character added to traditional leather.
